This is when I got it.
This is what has been done so far.
A better pic of the debris screens.
Stay tuned!
Wheels, tires, and new paint coming in the next three weeks!

Well, it was there when i bought the car. And yes, I do like it.
I have seen those covers at the Honda dealership. You might look there.

yeah, both sides were like that. I fixed it right after I took those pics. I was trying to beat the weather for photo shots. It's going to the body shop next week, so I thought I'd do a before and after.

Made a trip to the restoration shop that will be doing the paint job on my car. Took a few pics while I was there of a couple of the projects.

Thanx Pearlvic.
Actually I was testing those screens this week before it got painted to see if I wanted to keep them. The color I plan to paint them, is Duplicolor Trim paint (a gun metal look). And your right, it will look better.

Here is where it is for now.
I kinda got a kick out of what the manager told me. He said his paint crew was putting dibs on who was gonna paint it. Those guys are fired up about the car. From the looks of the parking lot, some of his crew are dedicated Civic owners. I guess thats good for me!

Todays update.
Too bad it was overcast here. The pearl would really stand out in the sunlight. Next step is to let it cure and do the final buff. It might be ready to put back together tomorrow. I cant wait!

no worries, I've spent nearly $3,500 on my car since last April.
About to spend another $200-$300 on painting lips.

Yeah krudmuphin, it's all in good clean fun. I guess I shouldn't worry about it!
I wonder if the IRS will let me write it off as...."Good clean fun"

Almost done with OEM headlights. I had to grind quite a bit off to get down to the clean plastic. Still got to take the right one apart and paint the inner housing. I'll sure be glad when I can take those cheap ebay lights off the car.

Picked up the car from the paint shop today. The painter ask me what I thought. I said,"Duuude", and my mouth was moving but nothing was coming out! His helper said,"Byron, he said,"Duuude", I think that's good enough". I had to grab a handful of Bountys to keep wiping the drool from my face.
I'll post some pics after I get the parts on.
