Just got into the car game with the Vic
Just got into the car game with the civic, Used to have a 1999 toyota tacoma that I bought stock and redid completely, now I'm just trying to make my civic look good.
It doesnt have much done to it now, I'll upload some pics. The only pics I have are a couple of weeks old, BUT, I have a set of 17x7.5 Focal X's with tires that will get here today from tirerack so I will take more pics later, also I have had my windows tinted 35 on doors and 20 on the rest, so tinted windows arent in the pics either. Enjoy

Thanks man, I didnt research civics a whole lot until after i bought this one... glad i ended up with it, super clean interior with 5 spd, pretty clean exterior, and i love the color

Nicest colour, nicest wheels, nicest year, nicest fog lights. Off to a pretty good start if you ask me. Lower it, fix those tails (can't tell if they're tinted oem or aftermarket), tint the windows and call it a day.
My favorite TV shows are JDM. My Honda isn't...

I know your pain, my civic is very similar to yours, even more so when I get my fog lights and 17" rims installed. I'm not ready to spend another $400 or so to drop it. I'm also clueless and afraid I'll break something if I did it myself. On top of all that, I still have parents nagging over my shoulder about how low my (stock ride height) car is... I also might have to fabricate a new mid-pipe because the one on my catback hangs too low.

dude what the hell... my parents said that exact same **** to me....but I bought the car... bought every part thats on it.. so if I'm buying everything I'll do what I want, along with me paying my cell phone bill, car insurance.............
And I'm ordering Eibach pro-kit today, just lowers it 1" all the way around for just over2 $200

Only picture snapped of my car on the way to the meet I went to today... shouldve taken some more though.. had it cleaner than the dealer i bought it from did a few months ago... lol, but lowering springs are in, lip comes in wednesday, and got a guy who will do my springs and alignment for free, saves me the headache and $300

I will be getting my rims and lowering my car in about a month or two t o look awesome like yours
And most lips are pretty cheap, but they all do the same job so it doesn't matter which one you get.

lol true that, and i appreciate it man, just wish i had your mileage lol, and most likely your paintjob haha, my car has to have all highway miles... front bumper and hood look sort of ashey, but oh well i love my civic... even though i followed my buds on their two cobalt ss's that were stock.. but also two srt-4s, one pushing just over 400 and the other pushing around 475 whp.... lol ive known em for a while.. they older, have a house, married, have a daily driver.. and drop 20 grand in their srt4s.. lol wish i had another dd, id do a k20a2 swap in mine and turbo it.. but oh well good to have Dreams i guess lol

haha, we all have dream cars we wish to go crazy and mod everything on. I really want a Saab 9-2x with a full Subaru STi engine and drive train swap but that would cost a fortune and take a lot of knowledge to build correctly...
And I hate Dodge Neons in general, but SRT-4s are actually quite frightening little things...

Yeah that Saab would be nasty, havent thought of that one.. lol, and yeah one of them got beside on the highway and i floored my car at a 55 mph roll in 3rd.. and he just pushed the gas pedal in some in 5th gear and still left me.. poor civics .. too slow.. my dad has a 2003 ford focus svt... that thing is sick too, but i did a little photoshoot tonight of my car on my CRAPPY CELL PHONE CAMERA... lol, low beam HIDs are a little bright in the last picture though.. lol, shouldve turned Hi beams on at th same time.. haha

Were those fog lights installed when you bought the car? I have an OEM set that is painfully confusing to install... Do you have any idea how yours is wired up?

Lol, no, i bought the car december 2011 BONE STOCK from used car dealer, an older woman owned it.. haha, so ive done everything to it, and i just ordered the ones off of ebay, put them in, ran the wiring up towards the battery, connected the yellow trip wire to my parking lights and the relay to the battery and grounded it off with the black wired. TONS MORE SIMPLE than doing it the long way lol, so whenever i lock or unlock my car my foglights blink, and NO they dont blink with my turning signals haha

Make sure you have a fuse on the wire going to the battery. Dont want an electrical fire ruining the car.

Sweet that sounds much easier than tearing apart the whole thing for some silly fog lights...

Lol really idk jack about stuff like that but it was pretty easy to do since i did it that way, oh and my lip came in today, still planning the lowering on april 13th

Dude, nice! What lip is that? When I lower my car I will be wanting one so I don't scratch up the stock bumper.

lol i didnt see the fuse comment, but yes i have a fuse, ALL the wiring came with the ones i ordered so its good, havent had a single problem with anything so far
