RiceFed's EM2 Budget Build

Well i've always owned EK's and i've been looking for an EM2 for sometime now but i didnt want to spend a lot of money on one. Sooooooooo, I'm looking through craigslist and there she is, listed at 3300 with some minor issues, but nothing i cant fix. So I was hoping someone would buy my EK so i can buy this car and as luck would have it someone did, 3 hours before i was going to go look at this EM2, a fellow member on azht.com hit me up and took it off my hands  so i took it as a sign of fate so i went straight to meet the owner of the EM2 ( rest/salv title due to front end collision) and ............ it was a mess! Hail damage, broken motor mounts, power steering making this god awfull sound and a few other things. But i saw a diamond in the rough so i started working him down on the price. so i ended up getting it for $2500 bucks!
So here she is. I have big plans so keep looking in the thread for updates.

Now its off to the paint shop to get the hail damage fixed and then time to replace motor mounts, EGR Valve and driver side axel.
Stay tuned

Looks nice. How much are you looking at to fix the hail damage + the parts needed to fix it? Make sure you still have a functioning airbag since it is a salvage title.

Really like what you have done so far. Do away with the blue headlights though. Get some white ones in there.

I've been looking for one, i was able to find one on ebay, but i'm afraid to order it and get a shitty quality grill

the airbag is fine, and i'm probably looking at 800 for a new paint job.
