Debadging
Debadging
I'm looking to remove the "CIVIC" logo from my 2010 EX Coupe to give the back more of a symmetrical/balanced look. Any suggestions on what to use to get it off and then to clean up the residue left behind?
thanks!

except if the whole sticky part gets left on the paint and you have to spend an hour picking at it lol. on a new car tho i imagine it should come off much easier. fishing line also works and wont break as easily.

Yeah, I figure it can't be that bad under there since it's still new. I work next to a body shop that's going to compound out some real minor surface scratches for free. They'll buff the car too, so the spot where the decal was should be perfectly clean.
Thanks for the advice- I'll be doing that this weekend...

Re: Debadging
if you take off the glue and still have a mark, try some meguiars ultimate compound. it will blend everything together and remove any outline from the glue. then put wax.

Use Goo Gone to remove residue, and the only badge that leaves holes is the Honda Emblem
