Rep Power: 0 My Daily driver - 05 Civic
Heres my new 2005 Civic (completly stock, daily driver to get back and forth to school)
Someday it will get some minor mods.. It has 30,000 km on it. I used to drive a Grand Marquis (dont laugh lol) with a pretty built up engine
My old ride :
Nothing special but i like my civic a lot .. nice little car and its great on gas. Someday would like to build up a turbo v-tech engine but right now im just using this car to drive back and forth to school and work.

It looks good Hella low kms as well. How much did you spend on it? You should tint your rear windows. Itll make your car stand out and its cheap too. Just my 2 cents

Yeah, I'll upload a few pictures when its tinted. Im going to have the back windows tinted 5% and the fronts probably 25 sometime this week whenever i can get an apt. My dad helped me out with the price but its all paid for .. i got it for $9000 with a set of snowtires. It has power locks, power windows, a sunroof, cruise, ac, tilt ect .. Not a bad car. The woman who owned it before I did knew my dad .. shes in her 50's and wanted to get an accord. My mom actually has a 2010 honda accord herself, its a nice car. Im rambling i know lol.
Looking for a few more ideas of what i could do to this as far as apperance, i just had the spoiler put on, i'd be up for a set of wheels but my wheels are pretty nice so its not a huge need. Thanks though, apperiate it! This car is mint !

45 minutes there and then 45 back .. not sure what it is in km but its quite a bit in gas in a 97 grand marquis with 4.11 gears. My civic is unreal on gas. I wasnt so sure if i wanted to downsize but my parents have drove hondas since i was around so i took the plunge and i like it a lot .. its a nice little car, handles good and rides a lot smoother then i imagined. Love my civic

Whenever i can lol. I havnt let it run to empty yet. I usually fill it from wherever it is once a week, depends on how much driving i do really but its a lot better then $80 worth of gas every 5 days. Looking to get a set of black rims of some sort as well

I'd say hes from Alberta judging from the red letterings on his plates. You might want to take off the Civic badge too. Itll give it a more subtle and clean look from the back without it

Keep it stock!!
Thats just my 2 cents......but ya why spend money on stuff that works perfectly fine? I wish everybody would keep there car stock, it embarassing to see people butcher a perfectly fine car. Heck I still ride my hubcaps on my 05 Civic. I almost bought new rims back in 05 and I decided that money would be alot more useful somewhere else.

Its auto. I decided to keep the wheels unless i find something i love for cheap.
9k isnt too bad, I figure it will hold a decent amount of its resale so if i go to sell in a few years it will still be worth something unlike something like say , a grand marquis. No matter what you do to a grand marquis, mustang motor swap, anything .. hell i coulda supercharged it and it probably woudlnt have sold for the price of the supercharger setup likely .. It has power locks, windows, cruise and a sunroof .. all i need.

Picked up some vent shades as well as 5% tint all around the back. Pictures will be up when it stops raining. Also, looking for a set of 15 inch wheels with snow tires for winter. If you have any, inbox me

They wont tint your fronts? I thought in NB it's legal for you guys to have your fronts tinted unlike my province, it sucks cause it would look so sweet if i could tint my fronts too

Its looking good! A few appearance mods i can suggest are removing the mud flaps, maybe wait till after winter though, black out the headlights, fog lights and LED license plate lights, they are a small detail but make it look nice! Good progress!

can you not get the front windows tinted? it would look wayyyy better with them tinted too.
Are those si wheels from the factory? Not sure of what wheels the canadian civics come with...
Whats that huge antenna for on the rear deck? just wondering, haha.
I really like the rs grilles, not a huge fan of the type r ones, but they still look good.
Any plans to lower it maybe?

So someone hit my car in a parking lot and drove off leaving my two doors on the drivers side dented pretty bad ... then right before i was about to get that fixed i was making a right turn and someone tried to get in ahead of me, rather then hit them i just put it over a curb not realizing how low my car is and damaging my bumper. Took the oppertunity to put the new grille in while the bumper was being replaced, cleaned up the headlights and got my doors fixed. There goes my rim fund...
Heres some recent pics
and the new toy ..

Got the bumper for $100 and paid another $20 for the inner fender as well, good deals. The grille is out of an 05 coupe my buddy rolled. It was red but i had the bottom part painted, its the grille i talked about earlier. Still thinking about a set of wheels but im set back awhile now. I want to lower it about an inch and a half and put 17 inch rims on it.

Any ideas on a few small mods i could do without ruining rellibility or having to really open up the motor to install that could make this car work a bit better? Also, i seen that there was a big weird thing on the intake that i heard was just a silencer, would i be able to take that off and replace it with pipe for better flow or is that a myth?
