Sound system finally done
Sound system finally done
Finally got all of my system in and it works amazing. It was well worth it, thanks to those who helped me out on this.
These are what I have:
Alpine cda 105
Alpine 10" sub
Alpine amp
Infinity Kappa 60.9cs up front
Infinity Kappa 62.9i in the back
Rockford Fosgate amp
And all of it comes together for amazing sound. Feel free to comment.

Yea. Make sure it's mounted down.. I'd also work on cleaning up the wiring to make it more "presentable," but that's just me.
Looks like you pieced together a pretty good system though

Looks like a nice setup, and ya make sure it is mounted down. And would be a good project on making a custom box to fit in and around a corner of your trunk.

Fiberglass is always fun to mess with..

^ hell ya nice job riceboy. And ya fiberglass is always fun to play with. I had one in my old eg that I had. I had mine where your spare tire goes. Lol I used my spare tire to help mold the fiberglass to where it would fit perfect in there.

I got some velcro holding it down for now, i think im gonna sell this box i built and get a new one with 2 subs in it since i have the room to work with and i kinda wanted two to start with. I cleaned the wires up really good too compared to how they were before. unfortunately all i can do is try and tuck them away because i want to still be able to fold my seats down without unhooking wires. spent a good afternoon on it and i tinned up the ground and power wires too.
Interested piece of work riceboy, out of all the searching i did i dont think i saw a setup like that. i was thinking about fibreglassing the box too but it is a lot of work and i wanted to take the quick and easy way out.
And lowlife, thats my next step, im not sure how big of a difference it will make though. and yes i finally finished it aha

yea, that glass box and amp rack took me about 2 weeks of work, doing everything on the fly instead of a well laid out plan. It worked well, until the little rubber "stops" (i used my old intake bolts.. lol) came out from the floor, so the sub and amp rack both were pretty much just sitting there with nothing holding them down
