Well i was on cars.com and found this civic for 7,900$
It says it salvage titled.
So when i called, he right away told me that, it was salvage titled. It was the door and on the fender.
He has this in the dispretion
"Please note 2007 Honda Civc LX GRAY 49K Miles Salvage Title, Automatic Very Clean NO Engine or Tran Damage, Drive Straight, No Frame Damage, Original Airbags, Perfect Conditon Full Power $7900"
Should i go for this?
Im looking at the picture, and it looks new. He repaired the door and fender
I Want a civic for a 1st car.
If you have aim please AIM me. GB Mister GB

I'd avoid buying a car that has been in a wreck. Don't let the low price fool you and don't trust everything in the description. If you are interested, take it to a mechanic for a full mechanical and safety test to make sure everything is fine.

I don't think a 99 Civic EX is worth $4000 unless it doesn't have much mileage.Maybe an 99 Si is worth $4000.I suggest to not buy it because of salvage title.Any specs on the car?

Don't try to get the deal of the century. You get what you pay for especially with salvaged cars! If insurance companies will not pay to fix em, then why would you?

$4000 for a 99 civic is expensive, at least in my area.
Aside from that, the majority of people won't even consider buying a salvaged car, so that takes a huge percentage off the actual value.

run a carfax on it or something and find out why it's a salvage title.

my car was a totaled rebuild with 60k on it. i'm now close to 100k. not a single problem. but i got an inspection mech/structural. i'd advise to look for something else as the posts above me have but not all rebuilds are junk. do you know if the guy was a certified honda mechanic who rebuilt it? i'm not sure how rebuilds work in the states but they're pretty strict around here when it comes to selling someone a car that was totaled.

Re: I'm Andrew I'm new and 17!
55,000 miles is pretty low considering the year of the car.So 5k isn't a bad price.

I think you should buy that 98 Civic for $5,000.I couldn't find any Civic close to that mileage.
