I would like to put a body kit on my 05 civic, what's the best place to get one and what are some of the best models? Are they complicated to put on yourself? About how much do they run price-wise (range.)? Thanks

good brands you can install yourself with mostly bolts and tape, others need to be fitted by a body shop. check around the pics section.

if you absolutely have to have a body kit, at least paint the it before you put it on. i have a body kit and i'd much rather have a stock body with lips or something. everything is going into turbo tho, so looks are on the back burner.

tsunami is prob the best kit out the with the best quality.
it is one of the few body kits that are made with polyurathane, and not fiberglass (cheap body kits)
polyurathane is flexable where fiberglass will crack and shatter.
i have about a 3" clearance and my front bumper has never failed on me...no crack or anything.
plus its one of the cleanest kits around.......not TOO ricy (all civic body kits are ricy, if u dont think so, u are denying urself)

No body kit from any company from vielside is a guarenteed fit. There is always adjustment. Some you can just paint and put on and others take some work. Shop cost can be as high as a grand. But doin it yourself with no clue as to what to do can cost you damage to the kit.
Polyuethaneis better quality and more sturdy than fiberglass, but fiberglass is easier to fix and paint. Carbon fiber can be painted if you know what your doing, bt once damaged, you may as well buy a new part.
You need to consider how low your suspension is or is going to be, as well as how much closer the kit will be to the street. If it will scrap easy, or if there are rough roads. You should go to shows and club meets which are open and ask a lot of questions to get info. Once you figure it all out here are some sites you fan check out.
