im looking into putting 2 new mods on my 97 civic, cold air intake and an aftermarket exhaust, i have the intake down, but i dont know much about aftermarket exhaust, im looking for an affordable one that will increase performance and give it a "meaner" sound.

usually you want to get a full catback system, which includes all the piping and muffler after the catalytic converter. that way you keep the stock cat and still pass smog. stick with good companies for exhaust like greddy, apexi, etc.
