Not that I have seen. I have seen it wrapped all the way out to the tip on supra's. I had my half my cat delete pipe wrapped cause it was easy and that way I didn't have to worry about it heat soaking the oil pan.

supras have a problem with shooting flames out of the exhaust every 5 seconds. So the whole exhaust system is just hot all the ****in' time.

It looks cool to me. I have the aem cai and it is polished silver stuff. Aluminum i guess. Anyways, usually it gets really hot to the touch. My old plastic coating one did not get as hot. Dunno what the wrap will improve, but it looks okay under the engine bay.
