ok heres the parts they had to replace:
Timing Belt
Position Sensor
Belt, COM- whatever this is
Water Pump
Coolant
Tensioner
Parts Cost 249
Labor cost 305
Then tax so total is 609
Now i either have to get a new cat converter or just need to get welded back to the pipe cause the welds might busted from when it was back firing

Good call gear. On the bright side, at least you don't have to worry about a timing belt for a loooong time! And probably no engine damage.

Yeah.. im glad there was no engine damage which they were shocked at honda lol.. I had to take my cat off cause whenever it was back firing and blew apart the ceramic.. so now i just have a resonator so it sounds crappy when take off but sounds great when you drive it easy

Hah yeah, it's amazing how much the cat quiets it down and eliminates the raspy sound. When I bought by car it only had 1 22" resonator and it sounded horrible. Now it's got a high flow car and a 14" resonator and it's golden!

I agree that is a VARY fair price seeing as that Honda did the work. I would have expected no less than $800. You got a deal IMO and its good maintance anyway.

honda in DC charges $1000 just to pull the head to check the valves not even replace them if you had to replace the valves you would be looking at around $3500 up here
which is messed up cause it is a really easy job it just takes a couple hours cause you have to pull the head, which takes some time un-hooking everything.
