Hey dudes name is Ty, i am the new owner of a 95 Civic DX Coupe she is black with grey and black interior. I found her in upstate new york from a old couple who took great care of her new timing and brakes. Ive got a B18 fully rebuilt with port and polished head and B18 or my B16 trans to go inside, ive also ordered strut breace 4pc, full exhaust , intake, and JDM fog lights, along with B&M short shifter, Type R front and rear lip. then i believe im going too work on the ICE want a clean setup, hmmmmm thinking kenwood Excelon.:r ockon:

I have a B18B came out of a 95 Teg a i got the motor by luck, a friend of mine who worked at the is import only car shop built this motor from the ground up well he got locked up and i had the money to get him out, as long as he let me get that motor and he did cause his civic was getting an all out CTR front clip so for 500 bucks i got a motor with about 3 and halkf grand of new ****.

I will have pics of the motor when i get my stuff out of storage. ya see im in the army and just got back from Iraq and waiting on my housing goods.

here is an update got intake, full exhaust, JDM style fogs, 3 PC strut brace kit, HID Kit(still waiting on harness with relay) B&M short shifter. Its going to all be istalled with the exception of the HID ,on saturday

yeah so install did not go the way i wanted it, i GOT THE EXHAUST AND SHORT SHIFTER IN THATS IT, one of the main compressors blew and the shop had to close so i got to wait to install the fogs, hid's, lip kit front and rear, and 3 farad capacitor. so i have to wait cause i live in NY and we are about to get creamed with 9 inches of snow.

Here it goes i nstalled the tach it works great, the intake is a ebay **** up that i had to cut dow and add a new filter cause the other wasnt even a filter more like a mesh screen, i put the ehaust on yesterday "full Exhaust" and my 3 Farad capasitor for my amp, and reset my computer. I took it for a test run and it runs smooth great sound and better pickup

Still need to install the strut brace kit and FOGS then i will be done modifying untill i get my B18 up here and order the mount kit, shift linkages , half shaft, computer, and hoses then it will be back to the shop and Summer Time .

In the picture of your intake...I think you have a velocity stack (funnel looking thing that fits over the end of your pipe) on backwards inside the filter. It that's what that black thing is behind the filter...it should be removed. It's designed for use w/o a filter, and it's on backwards anyway so it's not doing anything. You can get them for use with a filter, but that one looks like it doesn't have an edge for a filter to even sit on, so it wouldn't work for that. Again, assuming that's what that is, right now it's just disrupting your airflow. The filter should just slide right onto the end of the pipe and that's it!

ya see when i ordered this intake they sent the wrong pipe and the filter was so cheap it fell apart then pipe was so long i could not fit it in so i cut it down and bought a filter that had multiple rings for different size pipes, but the pipe was to small so i used the rubber backing form the cheap filter and reversed it so it will fit in the new one but its just temp for now

not to be bashing ur thred but all that work and you didnt run ur power wire threw the fire wall?and why would you buy all that stuff for that motor when you have a b-series going in?

im not gonna lie sony xplods are realy bad bro id ditch them. they blow out too often but i mean hey its your car im just suggesting. and wheres the B? id love to see that nice shineieeeee motor

i just got back from Iraq and before i left i put everything in storage down in GA im all the way up in NY when i get my transportation papers they will move it all up here just hope they dont **** **** up, the xplods i will be ditching them just something to do right now betwenn field traing and shot ranges. i go these littile parts cause i transfer a few to my B the rest im gonna sell. i am in the process off running that wire through the fire wall just waiting on a weekend

I know i am but i cant help it i dont have the money for the real JDM stuff so i have to settle with what deals i can find im not going to keep this way for long what springs or kit do you think i should get to lower it and holy **** once winter is gone im looking into some rims for sure
