here are the 2 types of seats im looking at getting both same price but i dont know which ones i want can u guys help me out? i have a Black 03 Civic EX coupe btw

First pair is JDM type R seats black with red stitching



Second pair just black&red seats

the type r seats are suede not leather

are those seats for the older dc integra type r? cause i thought all the newer dc5 type r seats were either red or blue

Well, the type-R seats you showed is obviously a replica. i say neither of those as they look cheap. Get Rsx seats or EP3 seats. If you have money, dc5 recaros.

ya, they are cloth, but leather interiors look sick.

the plain old gray cloth looks cheap. lol

im gonna rip my seats and interior out and redo it all in leather and suede. all black and red. woot.

Type R

both are nice but now rsx and ep3 seats are so cheap its rediculus. Buy rsx or ep3. They are much safer and look mad tight in our cars.

Don't get either of those.

i got the type R ones before and they will hurt if you ever sit in your car for 3+ hours.

Also, if your car is lowered, on bumpy roads and with the seats reclined they will bounce up and down like no other. Girlfriend was sleeping and i turn over only to see her jumping up and down on the seat since they were not sturdy at all.

Both of those seats are crap. They were prone to breaking too (meaning, the no longer recline nor do they stay in place. they just flop over either to the front or the back)

Save your money and get something else.

I upgraded to recaro SRD seats and were well worth it. You will also need some wedge engineering brackets for any of those crap seats you get and they will have to be custom made. I had to drop my seats off to wedge when i had brackets made.

Luckily their brackets were recaro specific and they fit my new seast.
