Hey guys,

I have a friend who can get me the Greddy DT Exhaust for basically free. Wondering what is your take on it... honestly I think that 2 muffler idea is kinda wack. haha. i was thinking about hacking the small pipe until its like 3-4 outside of the can.......

I would take it, sell it on ebay, and buy the greddy sp2 exhaust or magnaflow, both give good low deep sounds and not the I have the biggest coffee can tip that can fart the loudest.

only reason I say get rid of it is because I think it's ugly.

looks alien to me. I donno, if it's "basically" free, what do you mean like it's free if you ask out his sister for a date? Or 10 bucks "basically" free. If it's free free, get it, it would be cool in an oddball sort of way. If you actually have to do something like pay to get it, Personally I would look around.

i think it'd be a waste of time to hack off the smaller pipe, but for 20 bucks you can't beat the price. get it and sell it on ebay or rock it if you want to. it's different.

ill slap a big greddy decal on my car to get like 15HP easy instead of getting the exhaust lol..... well if any of you saw this on ebay...... would you honestly buy it? haha i wouldnt' but $20 is good.

theres a lot of **** on ebay that none of us would buy, but that other people do buy. Thats all that should matter to you in this decision.

SSM, if you hack off the exhaust pipe, it'll look weird, seriously. here's a quick photochop:




Not to mention it might change the sound of the muffler too, who knows.

would it be possible to chop off the little pipe and weld on another one of the same size as the other one (or vice versa), or would that be off center? that'd be a little better, but it's still kinda gay. having one being smaller than the other...that is really "wtf?". it's something that is made to look like a performance mod of some kind, but it looks stupid and gives you absolutely nothing at all. which is, essentially, the definition of "rice". (although different people seem to have different views of that).

does it make it sound unique somehow? then maybe keep it, yeah...but it still looks weird.
