**** I can't believe all the recent accidents makes me want to do less driving.
Well at least the damage isn't too bad, still sucks though.

Your damage doesn't look to be too bad. Maybe just a new bumper. Your trunk seems to be perfectly aligned. I got rear ended last year (June 2006). My bumper wasn't as scuffed up as yours, but a I needed a new one. Plus I needed my trunk re-aligned, and one my tail lights were cracked. Either way, you can still get a 300zx if you want. Just fix her up, and you'll be on your way.

Re: A Few New Pics of my (Now Rear-Ended) SSM Civic
i was thinking of taking the check and buying my own bumper and doing it myself. is it hard to install a bumper? and will a 04 bumper bolt right up to a 02 frame?
Re: A Few New Pics of my (Now Rear-Ended) SSM Civic
repairable....at least your rear quarterpanels didn't buckle like mine did when I was rear ended...of course mine was 45 mph and no brakes and she said "I didn't see you sitting there" dumb ****...00 vic totalled!!!!

I'm pretty sure that the 04-05 rear bumper will just clip on without a problem, but I'm not 100% sure about that.
As far as how hard it is I doubt it's hard at all.. I've never tried it with my em2 so I'm not sure but every other bumper I've taken off was relatively easy. The only thing that sucks is popping all the tabs and taking it off without doing any damage, but that was an fg2 front bumper so take it or leave it as you please.
Be glad the damage wasn't worse.

Re: A Few New Pics of my (Now Rear-Ended) SSM Civic
Did you pop your trunk and take a look at your floor pan? Mine was all torn up when my car rear ended (parked under a street light). They weld some hangers on the back of it, pull it out, then cut the floor pan out, get a new one and weld it in place. It all goes back to normal, but its pretty gnarly stuff, but at least its not up front where all the important stuff is. Any cracks on the tailights so you can get them to pay for ur 04 tails?

If it's anything like the front bumper, it should be easy to install. i'm sure there's a diy on here somewhere.

Re: A Few New Pics of my (Now Rear-Ended) SSM Civic
it looks like it only has about 4-6 bolts/screws. not too hard. and does anyone know how to locate a junkyard? im getting my check soon =D
Re: A Few New Pics of my (Now Rear-Ended) SSM Civic
The rear bumper is really easy to remove/replace. 2 screws in each fender well, 2 bolts in the trunk opening, 2 clips underneath the car, and then just pull it off. Good luck finding one in a junkyard. BTW a 04 rear bumper should fit.
