Re: 01 Civic Looking to go Show Car - Race Car - Street Car
The car has a ways to go still obviously, but we want to have most of it done by late Oct for SEMA. So I guess we will all see together.

Re: 01 Civic Looking to go Show Car - Race Car - Street Car
looks good but the LED rear tails, or stock tails look the best in my honest opinions (IMHO) Glad theres not a huge wing on it, and i cant wait for dyno numbers!! not to mention track times, if its also going the race car route.

Hm, I think you're off to a good setup. Are you keeping the paint grey like that? That's an interesting combination, I was thinking about doing something like that. Do you work for or own Legacy Innotations? Just curious, I like what you've done with the 7th gen.

Re: 01 Civic Looking to go Show Car - Race Car - Street Car
Thanks for all the kind words. The tail lights have been a previously debated topic among us. But the roof scoop is staying.
We are a two man shop out of a home garage. We are using the civic (a freinds car) as promotion so that we can quit our jobs and do this full time. We will not have our own booth at SEMA, we will be outside in the booth of a much larger sponsor.

Re: 01 Civic Looking to go Show Car - Race Car - Street Car
I like it. The wheels are a nice choice and so is the paint. The body lines look great for a show car, as does the roof scoop. The motor will be a nice touch. The tails can probably stay. Show cars need tezzas sumtimes. One thing i thought was off, and random, and funny looking was the tailights gas tank cover thing..lol thats just way out there. good job overall im sure itll look nice. You should keep us updated and post up as new things go in, including the new motor. Thatd be great if you could, thanks!

Eyger...thats is black primer. Currently we only enter it in "underconstruction" classes (no engine). Usually they must be in primer. The BLK was for OC Car Show.

Re: 01 Civic Looking to go Show Car - Race Car - Street Car
i never liked suicide doors on imports. i think looks dumb. and the roof scoop has no purpose. the rest of the car looks badass. some ukdm tails look amazing on it.

If you ever go to some shows in S. Jersey and need a 7th gen civic to compare against - I'll offer myself as the sacrificial lamb. LOL

Re: 01 Civic Looking to go Show Car - Race Car - Street Car
I'm truely WOWed and SHOCKED at the same time.
I love the racer mods and the custom things done to the car
But them there are those lowrider/mini truck attributes I truely dislike.
The steering wheel is ugly and doesn't fit.
And that trunk doesn't fit the race car theme either.
Thats just my two cents.
