Sedan vs Coupe
OK for the new 8thgen.... owners, fans, etc... which do you prefer?? Coupe or Sedan??
I want reasons to why u like it better? yeah i know there are few differences, but i'm just looking for peoples opinons. I dont think that theres a thread about this already but i will search again just to make sure.
For me, I prefer the coupe! like im not a fan of the back of the sedans, like the coupes rear lights are right up my alley.. Also the overall profile of the coupes seem alot better in my book.

Re: Sedan vs Coupe
8th gen coupe definately looks better than the sedan marginally. I wouldn't get the sedan unless you were going to actually use it as a sedan (i.e. kids, clients, ease of getting people in out). No point of getting a sedan if you do 75% of your driving solo, so I would get the coupe otherwise. As far as the Si goes, sedan may have a slightly higher advantage because it shares the same kick *** motor as the coupe, but with 4 doors, you stay more inconspicuous from cops and ricers wanting to race.

Case in point: Civic is a Smart Buy.
Re: Sedan vs Coupe
touche!. i understand. i love my 8th gen!. i got it 3-14-07. i've had it for almost 2 weeks now and although i haven't pushed it hard yet like to redline or anything but in time. i'd like to REALLY feel the hype everyone's talking about. i miss my EM2 though. it got sold to someone like 4 or 5 days after the trade and purchase of my new car. yeah the 8th gen at times seems pretty big in size but the more you stare at it from every single angle, you start to understand it's size and eccept it. it seems like at this moment of ownage of the Si is the "everything you can do wrong with it before you understand "her" ". i've grinded 1 time. and started the car when it was already on LOL. eventhough BOTH of those F'ups weren't really that bad. i'm still wondering if i should be freaking out. everyone tells me "dude, it's NEW!!!". it's DEFFINANTLY different from driving my old EM2. i mean the clutch and shifter are SOLID!. more tention and strength you gotta put into it in order to get it moving!. Si is DEFFINANTLY more powerful!.
Re: Sedan vs Coupe
i like the sedan rear tailights i think i fits the body syle of the new civic nicely. I was never a big fan of the 4 door civics prior to the 8th gen. Even the 7thgen sedans i wasn't really in to.
Re: Sedan vs Coupe
sedan > coupe only because you can do the true JDM conversion thing to it and it looks damn good. agree? btw. this is my ride. drrrooooooooollll

AND my coupe is pretty hot too i guess....

ps: i wish they were mine.

Re: Sedan vs Coupe
nah.. i still feel the line of the coupe over the sedan... look at the last side window's line. alot smoother on the coupe, it bubbles out on the sedan
Re: Sedan vs Coupe
the coupe looks like an egg... and the sedan looks so basic stock. if ur talking about right from the factory in its most basic form...id probably end up getting the coupe just because it looks nicer. but if i had plans to modify and knew that id have the money and stuff id definatly get the sedan. we have to all agree that there are plenty of SICK coupe but even LESS, RARE SICK SEDANS. so if u have the money to make a sedan look REALLLLY GOOD then id always get that over a coupe. 4 doors...same motor..please... what more do u want?
