hey guys im goign to be sending out my 2nd valve cover to be painted. what do i need to put it on when i get it back? any gaskets or what? please help asap!! i have a d17a2...

Your going to need spark plug seals and , if you want, a valve cover gasket. I have my VC pc candy blue also and its SWEET!

how much you think all that will cost? i go to majestci honda and get all the oem stuff. 20 bucks for the valve cover gasket i dunoe bout the spark plugs seals i need 2 check..

hondaautomotiveparts.com has the spark plug Seal listed for 2.94 + shipping.
From prior experience I have painted a few valvecovers myself without having to replace the valve cover gasket and spark plug seals.

one tip i can give you is that when you tighten back up the valve cover bolts do not over tighten them or they'll snap! (7lb tq strength)
