Cool Custom intake anyone???

Ive decided to make my own custom intake out of silicone b/c of its thermal benefits over metal piping. I will be using the weapon r filter with complete silicone piping. Im stuck on the pipe diameter size....should I go with 3" piping and use a reducer to the throttlebody to 2.5" or should it be 3" all the way?

3 inch is way too big for a civic, thats truck size diameter

the heat difference between the 2 materials may be slightly cooler but the power increase will be minimal to say the least. Wate of time IMO.

if u wanna do custom intake..look at this shxt...caught my attention...saw it on h-t. http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o...renginebay.jpg

i wouldnt mind doing that since you wont have any problems with a strut bar.

awh boo turbocharged..why u think thats stupid...it looks stock and it does the same as a regular intake..i thought it was pretty nifty imo.
