Ive decided to make my own custom intake out of silicone b/c of its thermal benefits over metal piping. I will be using the weapon r filter with complete silicone piping. Im stuck on the pipe diameter size....should I go with 3" piping and use a reducer to the throttlebody to 2.5" or should it be 3" all the way?

3 inch is way too big for a civic, thats truck size diameter

the heat difference between the 2 materials may be slightly cooler but the power increase will be minimal to say the least. Wate of time IMO.

are you serious? this looks sooo stupid. buy a cheap ebay intake and stick a K&N conical filter on it and call it a day.
