i found a 2000 acura integra gsr with 100k miles on the body and roughly 26k on the engine. since i dont have a civic anymore do you guys think i should go for this? yea it is purple i would like to paint it but dont know how much a paint job costs any ideas?








note the engine is a lil dirty due to the snow

Maybe I'm color blind. but that looks blue to me

oops sorry forgot to post the price he is asking $7k which i think is a pretty good deal and yea it is purple lol your color blind. how much does it cost to paint a car?

The paint job will prob. be a couple grand since you are changing colors. Dang thats a terrible purple color lol, but you cant beat the engine mileage. What part of PA you from?

this is just IMO, i think that is a pretty cool color. I wouldn't paint it at all. Its different unless you plan on painting it another "different" color.

do it man. except thats way to much for a gsr in my opinion. but if u like that price w.e. btw i would keep the purple..u know how rare it is to find a purple gsr.? and are u sure thats snow. just rmbr its a 2000...with 100k miles and a new motor already...you should try and talk him down a lot...my friend has a 98 gsr with only 70k miles MINT condition. and he got it for 8k. so really think about it if ur getting it..try and talk him down. other then that go for it!

Ask for proof that the motor has as many Miles as he states. And yes, definetly talk him down. A good paintjob will probably go for around 2500-3500.

yea thanks for all the input guys, today i also stopped and saw a 2000 electron blue civic si. this car was clean as a whistle, it has 82k miles dc sports cat back exhaust, dc sports headers and cold air intake. very clean and they are asking $9k hopefully i can talk them down close to 8k

^^ when i live in florida my friend gsr,civic and delso got jacked when they was sleeping...i even got my car broken into when i was sleeping and all of us have a alarm in our car..

Anyway, if you do get the integgy. I'd keep the purple, it's rare seeing a purple car now-a-days. I don't think it looks that bad either. I'd drive a purple integgy lol.

doesnt look like a bad deal but i would be weary about the mototr swap/replacement. ask for paperwork and have the car looked at by a mechanic you trust.
