Steering Wheels Shaking At 60mph ++
Today I had to take my mother to work so I took the highway and since the streets were badd because of the snowfall and my car is too low and I notice when I past 60mph my steering wheel starts to shake alot anyone knows why? I open my hood and had madd ice in the bottom of the engine could that be it? I took the street home and damn I was plowing everything and I could feel all the hard show under my car as I drove. What could it be? Thanks.
I like my commute

ehh I think you have snow and ice buildup in your wheels and axles, that storm was a beoch! Take it to a car wash and jam the high pressure washer in there and spray that mother out... This is probably the solution if you haven't noticed shaking before the storm
new brakes cause shaking huh?
anyways its possible that it is your brakes if your rotors are warped from overheating, to identify this problem, under moderate braking the shaking will get worse. it could also be any of your wheels bent from a pothole, and your tires possibly wearing irregularly.(due to alignment) so go make sure you dont have alot of ice stuck in your front rims causing an imbalance and then decide if it gets worse under braking, if neither of those is the problem go get an alignment and your tires road-force balanced.

its most likey the snow stuck under there dude, it could also be your tires. Since its been freakin freezin out...your tires freeze up from sittin all nite. they get like a flat spot (from where the sat all nite or day..)..but it tends to go away after driving it around for a while. it warms up the rubbers. so it goes back to normal. but yea..clean that snow off first, drive it see how it feels. be careful spraying off your car..with this cold weather. make sure you drive it as soon as you do..dont let it sit for to long or other parts will freeze up. seen that happen alot
