custom power windows?

Hey guys... I've searched for this already, but havent really find what I was looking for...

Anyways, I want to know how well do custom power windows compare to OEM ones from Honda. What I'm concerned about is how fast the windows go down. Do custom ones go down a bit slower than OEM ones?

If I'm going to do custom power windows, where is the switch going to be located? I know there's this small slot thing on my door handle. I don't know if that's where the OEM one should be if I were to add it.

I'm going to be bringing my car to a shop to do it. Am I able to pick my own switches and maybe have them illuminated? Sorry if I sound stupid. I just want to be ready when I bring my car out.

Thanks in advance.

I do not have power windows. My car only came with power locks. I'm sure that's not anything unusual. What I mean by custom is just "not factory".

if it's a custom job, you can put them wherever you want. hence the word custom. honestly what i'd do is get a door panel, motore and all the accesories from the junkyard off a civic that had power windows.
