When I was up north, Id get graphite lock ease and squirt it in the locks, it saves the locks and prevents freezing up if you are using a key.

cold surface + hot water = temp change too extream too quickly

^plus, the water will eventually cool down and freeze, possilby adding to the problem if some of it gets in the lock. just spend the 99 cents and get the little de icer can.

when me and my friend came back from the city one night, his locks were frozen on his taurus and i told him to **** in it and it worked but his car smelt like **** the rest of the night....only option we had lol
dude...the whole lock freezing thing is pissing me off, it's like -10 windchill here in nova, i came out of work last night and i could hardly get into my passenger side door i'm wondering what happens when i cant get in either doors and dont have a can of lock de-icer.....

to everyone with frozen passanger side door locks... why dont u just use your brain and get in through the drivers side? ...your going to need to be there anyways to drive off
