Rep Power: 244 What to do about tails??
Does anyone know what I have to do to "red out" my reverse light? I know there is red tint out there but it wouldn't be very easy to put on... I also know that people were using...vynil I think...on their RSX's to cover the amber blinkers...
Let me know if there's anything I can do!

Why would you want to...when you back up ppl may think that your just hitting your brakes since its red..they wouldnt see the white lights so..i say its an accident waiting to happen.. but i'm guessing you just want to do it so to match the rest of your car since its red. lol But i wouldn't if i were you.

Rep Power: 244 I want the lens all red, and could care less about whether it looks like I'm backing up or not. It doesn't even have to be that dark...for example I think it's '98-2k2 accords that have a light red tint to their reverse lights....

Rep Power: 218 idk if its a show car or anything... but most places in the US its illegal... you need to have the light white... its like a 85 dollar ticket otherwise... but anyway... you can get tint from autozone even... or advance autos... and just do a cut... that and invest in a compass so it doesn;t look shotty... you can tint it at about a 35 or a 45 percent if u can find it... and get a high intensity bulb for about 10 bucks and you should have no need to have the light red... cause with it off it'll look red.. and on it should shine through white

Rep Power: 0 odd all i wanted was to get rid of my pink tails and now you want them...i would suggest checking out the spray tint from a hobby toy shop see if they offer it in red.

Rep Power: 244 First of all, IOWA doesn't have this thing you guys call, "inspections"!

hey do what you like, it's your car don't let anyone stop you from customizing it the way you like, however, I didn't realize you didn't have inspections where you live. In NY they're hard as **** finding everything they can with inspections.

Rep Power: 0 people are "hating" not because the hate on the idea but because its dangerous for your car not to indicate your backing up, its like taking off your brake lights, it can promote an accident into happening. peeps are just trying to warn ya.

Rep Power: 265 I think it'll look strange, but yeah, someone has to sell red tint film. It'll be hard matching it exactly to the rest of the light, tho.

Rep Power: 221 those tails are stock on euro 7th gens
Redding out the whole lens? I see why you want to do that but too much red would make the car a bit plain imo same as blacking out the tails on a black car. I guess if you really wanted you could spray/tint as others have suggested
