Hey i have a 02 ex coupe and i wanted to do a k20 or k24 swap but since im a kid its hard to get like 5 to 6 grand for such a thing. So i was thinking about turbo it. however i was wondering does anyone know if there is lots of problems with doing such a thing from experience or what you guys heard. I might still daily drive it but run real low boost. So just wondering if anyone knew about problems that comes with this mod and 1/4 mile times at what PSI ? Also how much boost could you run on a stock motor with it still being safe ? Thanks in advance

Rep Power: 400 If you do it right you can run 7 psi all day long, beat the **** out of it and still not have problems. Just tune it right.
... and use the fricken search button.

Rep Power: 287 well even going turbo is still going to cost you a couple grand.
and up in the toolbar at the top theres a search button. This thread topic has been beat to death. search this site and youll find 534573468735684 threads about this.
but welcome to the site nonetheless. Just for future reference, search for something and if you cant find an answer, then make a thread. Youll get flamed by everyone otherwise.

Rep Power: 301 well the cost of living is alot higher i suppose in a more densely populated state. i mean Pennsylvania, not nearly as populated as Cali. why he makes more money is prolly due to a better field of more and not having to battle with over a million people wanting that same job!...just my 2 cents... but go with a turbo kit if money is gonna hurt, but aswap can be good too. search and find the 350 whp D17 with the DEZOD kit....reppin. and you can also go swap and more power, but wit hte right build, knowledge and money. the sky is the limit, to get power, you gotta replace internals to stay consistent with higher boost. but search. i learned from it, now you!
