Rep Power: 0 MY CAR WAS A VICTIM OF A HIT AND RUN **pix inside**
heres the story..i went home (corpus christi tx.) for thanksgiving...and met up with a few friends..and i left my car where i thought it'd be safe for a few hours...and when i got back i found it like this
in person you can see that theres a crease running down the middle of it...sooooo im thinking a lifted truck maybe backed into it..and spilt..!!

Probably some woman driving a huge SUV or pickup that doesn't realize how big their vehicle is. Sucks to be you...
Looks like it's just the door, though. Easier fix than if they crumpled your rear panel.

Rep Power: 227 Damn bro that sucks. Hope you find a door around town. I'll look around and if I find anything, I'll hit you up.
I always park my car in the back around San Antone. Too many idiots around here. My cars been shot with a CO2 gun, so now I got a dent that's rusted from it. And my cars been keyed a little. And someone opened their door and hit mine. So, I park away from everyone and when I park near people I look at their license plates just incase. :]
Got a site. Try if you haven't already.

Rep Power: 0 Dang that's one major dent, you think Dent Wizard can take that out? But seriously that must suck. I thought I would help you out so I went to www.car-parts.com to see if there were any doors and sure enough I found about 5 or so in silver in around TX.

Rep Power: 296 yeah your probably right. It looks like its from a lifted truck with a chrome bumper or something, since there no paint from the other vehicle on your car.
If there some paint of the other car you can probably track down the manufacturer and model, then again everyone drives a truck or suv in texas, at least when i went there.
Good luck on fixing up the 7th gen.

Rep Power: 0 ouch! hope things work out and you get that covered through insurance!
similar thing happened to my friend's 07 SI 2 weeks ago, except... the towing company did it to his car?? hahah i say they're pretty retarded. the damaged looked really similar to that and was only on the door luckily.
well now since his dad just so happens to own an auto mechanic/auto body shop , his dad decided to just replace the door completely and not bother with cutting sheet metal on a brand new car so he charged the towing company a good amount for the damage hahaha, serves them right for being careless.

Rep Power: 364 Looks like what happened to my dads car just a few weeks ago. He took it to the body shop and they rolled the door back out to how it should be. The coupe doors should be cheaper to fix because they dont have the indent most doors have for the side molding- thats the tricky spot. Anyways, yours is actually in pretty good condition for getting it fixed. You should REALLY look into how much it might cost to get it fixed, its all labor.
btw, did you not have insurance that covers dipships?
