i saw a chrome cover kit for the stock tails that separates it into dif sections. looked neat but i could never find it again. it had sidemarker and headlight trims too. they also have vinyl overlays to change the shape.

Vinal overlays? Hmmmm... possible.

Tinting might be a good idea but not sure how to go about that.

I like rice... the fluffy white stuff that is. Not to be confused with crack, I dont like crack except for the buttcrack region on the ladies

its so simple to tint your tails.

two options:

search ebay for a pre cut tint "film" that directly sticks on your lights and works perfectly.

or find a product called "night shades" its like a krylon spray that when done right in clear coated finishes looks great.

total cost = 30 bucks , dont replace your stocks.

^You should get one chrome one and one black one. Then get a badass body kit, chrome rims on the side the chrome taillight is on and black rims on the side the black taillight is on. That would set your car offffff!

Wicked! But, then I would be considered Rice-A-Roney... or something...

Relax, I will probably just tint my OEM's.

I like the spray idea the best. That seems easy enough. To me, they are just too "red" right now. I think toning them down a little with the "Night Shades" spray or something would look better. I also think this would be the least expensive way to go.

UPDATE:

Bought some "Night Shades" spray off Ebay. Works great! I just put on my second coat and they are looking good. Not sure how dark I want to go. Isn't black illegal?? LOL Thanks for mentioning this method. I would have never thought of the tint. Sweet. Saved me some money cause the spray is cheap.

HAHA...it's just spray on! Just mask around the area and spray. Nothing to it really. The more coats the darker it gets.

They look awesome. About three coats did it. Not totally black and the lights still come through good.

Thanks.
