lip kit question

i have a 2005 civic ex coupe special edition. i want to get a kaminari kit for it, but i noticed that the EX has those little extensions on the bumpers. like in the corners it has those peices that stick out to make it look more agressive. im not sure if those are just on the EX or not but i know i have seen civics without them. my question is, since its a lip kit, will it fit over those or will i have to modify the original bumper to make it fit. cause i would think it wouldnt fit over those little extensions. i dunno. does anyone know if it will work.

are you talking about the front bumper that all 04-05 civics have? it kind of looks like a type r lip? if so, then the kit should fit as long as you order the kit for 04-05 civics.

oh. ok. i wasnt sure if all 04-05 civics had that. yeah, the kit says 04-05, cool then it should work. thanks.

i know that. but i wasnt sure if the ex had a slightely different body style then the rest. i was wrong
