Civic 2001 to 2005 front end swap

Hi Guys,

Just thinking of a body swap for 2001 to 2005 front end swap. Correct me if I'm wrong... We need the following:

1. Hood
2. Headlight
3. Fender
4. Front grill.

Best regards

Bumper and probably the radiator core support also. You are looking at spending quite a bit of $$ to do this.

that would be cool but the only thing that sucks is that if you do a front end conversion people wouldnt know unless you told them. with all that money you could get a good body kit.

I planning on doing the same thing though it's far off and probably the last thing I'm going to do to my car. I want to get a lip kit, cf hood, and projector headlights retrofitted w/hid, so I'm just going to get all the 04-05 aftermarket parts, then all I have to get is fenders and a front bumper. Getting the parts and modifying doesn't look like it would be to hard just all that paint and fitting at the body shop will kill you unless you can do some or most of it yourself.

i like the 01-03 front end better then the 04-05, the only thing i like about the 04-05 front end is the fog lights.

i'd say if you dont have a lotta miles on your car...sell it for a used 04-05. newer car, plus most of you interior and exterior mods can be swapped..wheels, suspension.etc..

No, you're gonna need new fenders, new hood, new headlights, new grill. Basically all the visible parts forward of the doors. This has already been said.

I believe you will have to rewire your headlights and get new harness since their gonna be 9006 instead of H4's. Their only single filament bulbs cuz they use the highbeam seperate.......

you might wanna hold your headlight project off until after you do your converstion, the lights arent the same, would be a big bummer to waste all that effort and money, and then have to go back to stock for 05 (or redo the retrofit).

best regards all.

You could just do like thoes older civic guys do and just bondo the **** out of it until it looks like it fits!

I didn't know that we have to go through all that processes... sadly I think I will stick to 01-03.

By the way, I think below picture is the 01 model with a different grille. Anyone knows what grill is it?
