Smile Head lights, cat questions

OK so i want to bake my head lights apart and take out the orange refector.
This is a 03 civic ex 2 dr, Has it been done, can it be done?
If not can i put the new civic headlights on w/out the refector?

I also want to replace or gut cat, will it throw a code, is there a o2 sensor there?

Thanks
Dannie

Both answers are yes You cant ake the amber reflector out, as alot of people have done, and you will throw a code unless you get an o2 sim.

i think it would look better with the reflector removed. it is just chrome underneath. the clear reflector looks weird. when you take the amber piece off, the reflector almost falls out, theres just one tab holding it on. but technically you should know that law requires you to have orange reflector and orange turn signals. most cop wont care about the reflector. and if you want 7443 amber bulb, there is one seller on ebay that has really good ones.

cat

so back to the cat question. I want to gut it out. Will it throw a code?
what can i do about the code if it does?
Would it be better to get a high flow?
or a peice of pipe to replace the cat?

thanks for the feed back

casper electronics used to make it, idk i think most of those place are not around anymore. try ebay? there are different kinds, i think some mechanical and others like a chip or box that fools the ecu into thinking smog is okay.
