Rep Power: 231 unfortunately this alarm does not have the option built in directly on the remote like the viper 5000.. To adjust the alarm your gonna have to probably check under your steering wheel.. you should have a little module that looks like a clear, small plastic cube.. In the clear cube you have a white screw I believe.. Your gonna have to turn this screw with a mini screwdriver or any small mechanism that will fit clockwise or counter clockwise( check your manual im not sure which way you have to turn for it to be more sensitive.) Once you do that, wait a minute, than bang a door panel and you should see instant results.. hope it helped..

Rep Power: 0 Ok I just did mine too. Turns out whoever installed the alarm had the shock sensor ziptied to a bunch of cables... I dont think any "shocks" would travel too well through cables so I attached it to the framework of the dash and turned up the sensativity. I am very pleased with how it works now. Thanks again everyone!

Rep Power: 287 so which way did you guys turn it to make it more sensitive?
also, does anyone know how to program the alarm where if the warning tone is set off 3 times or more the alarm goes off? i can make my car warn me forever with the proximity sensor, but it won't go off.

Rep Power: 0 I turned it clockwise to make it more sensative. And the only way I know to make the alarm fully sound with a proximity alarm is to adjust the inner zone further out so that if they get too close it will go off. I have mine set so that there is a warning blip and then if they go to try to look in through the window or anything that close it goes off entirely.
