So has anyone ever converted a civic from fwd to rwd before? I looked but couldn't really find anything about it..... a drifting civic?

a few people have done it to civic's one guy did an Acura legend swap into a 6thgen, and has it RWD. And some guy just sold a 350 powered 5thgen hatch on ebay. it can be done just alot of work.

buy the awd drivetrain from japan, disconnect the front driveshaft, voila! rwd civic.

i saw a white integra, dc2, with a crv drivetrain. it can be set as either awd or rwd depending on what the owner feels like . he used it at a drift event a few years back. pretty good driver.

yeah preludes have huge engine bays, but the 5th and 6th gen civics have huge engine bays compared ot the 7thgen.

yup, saw that car in person while i was visiting family in FL. they took the differentials, axles and basically everything including the lug swap haha and put it in the integra. wiring must've been a b!tch. hahah thinking about that makes me want a dc2 mMmm AWD DC2 with a jdm front end. LMAO anyways.... btw that car was up for sale last year it was going for i think $12k+ dont remember. company who produced was by Braille Auto. check out their site http://www.brailleauto.com/index-1.html

why would it need to be a 350z? you could do 240sx with an SR20det or RB26det swap, or go turbo MR2, old school carolla, supra, or celica. I have a few buddies with some bad *** 240's one is sr20det one is supercharged ka24. and one with an 83 celica with the turbo 2.4 in it. all great for drifting.
