i think i should take off my body kit too or i will be a snow plow. Past couple of winters we have had snowfalls of 2 feet or more at once
im used to it tho, ive been here my whole life and dont plan on going anywhere else

Rep Power: 336 winters have been bad? we get 1 snow fall that is big and thats it. the rest were lil accumaltion. and a lil ice. we got snow like 3 or 4 times last year and 1 was alot of snow.
man i rememeber when i was younger, we got alot more snow then we do now. it doesnt even get that cold anymore.

Rep Power: 451 on LI they have been pretty bad, at least 1 noreaster a year than the occasional 1ft snowfalls in between..but yea they have been warm although around the end of winter is when its the worst

yeah this is true. 1ft isnt bad thou. lol..i wish we got more. like 2-3 ft. that would be awsome. 1ft of snow doesnt cancel work for me. yeah its been warm during the winter, well above freezing. and at the end we get ice, snow whatever.
but id like to be in PR. I was there last NOvember passing through and it was awsome. i was going and coming from punta cana. so me and my giurl were outside have a cig or 2 and it look sweet. fighting over PR was sick. looks like a nice place to live. it had its nice parts and bad parts it seemed like anywhere else. but clear water and warm weather. i like it alot. but i dont think i would last too long. id prob get robbed and ****.

Rep Power: 451 heat index was at 105 here yesterday and its supposed to be like 99 here today without the index and its soo damn hot out i cant even walk, i sweat so much walking from my car to my house which is like 20 feet. I would like more snow too to cancel classes

i wanna go to alaska. i was watching the HD channel and they were talking about alaska and how cold it gets and how much snow they get. it looked real nice.

Rep Power: 451 yea i heard about those tornados but we didnt have any around here, only like 1 or 2 pretty bad thunderstorms but thats about it. Alaska is cool but isnt it like dark and light for 24 hours at different times of the year? I would definatley go on vacation there there tho.

I live on the outskirts of the city I had roof damage, my room got f'ed up.
Alot of my friends lost everything they owned.
The outskirts of New Orleans is back to normal as well as downtown(where i work). But most of New Orleans is still in ruins, no people, deserted.

Rep Power: 306 it was. i used to live in the heart of new orleans and after the storm i went to see my old home. my old home was built high - about 4 feet up. Yet that didnt help, bc that street had about 8feet of water.
The streets were white, the grass was black.
So many flooded cars, they were covered in a white dust.
Some the doors/hoods/and trunks has popped open from the water pressure. It was an insane experience.

EVeryone down here is praying that we dont get another hurricane this yr. To be honest with you, this city cant handle another one right now.
If another hurricane comes, we evacuate again. If this time it destroys our home, then i guess we move.
It causes alot of anxiety. Can you imagine the agony having to drive back home and not knowing if you would see your home standing or completely crushed to the ground? or the roof ripped off? or what happen to many, they found their homes on the next street or on top of someone else's house. I really dont wanna have to go thru that again...plus its a pain having to deal with the jerkface insurance adjusters that dont know what its like to go thru what we been thru....ugh!
