I am new to the website. and i am new to hondas. my dad just gave me his 01 honda civic ex. its a SOHC VTEC-E. I am trying to add some power to the car because it is pretty slow right now. but i don't have to much money to spend. can anyone give me some info/ ideas on how i can do this? thanks in advance.

Rep Power: 0 before everyone start to flame you, i suggest u trying searching around for your ans,,,, use the search feature on the top ... it answer all ur question, everyone has diff route, most either go swap or turbo, and both had been covered extensively by members over here. take a look at the FI section, or Swaps section in the forum, take a few days to read it thru ... i did, and we expect u too.

Rep Power: 314 to get an idea, read my sig. Basically, any econo 4 cylinder will have a tough time with cheap speed. The things I recommend if taking away carpets, sound deadening eqip., spare tire, stuff you may not need all the time.
probably b/c they think they graduated from noobie school. ANd of course, they were probably treated the same way they are treating the new guy now.
