I have a wings west avenger kit for my 2001 honda civic.. it sat around and the double sided tape for the sideskirts is no longer good and wont stick.. i know its 3M cus i looked on wingwests site.. im not sure exactly which 3m tape it is other then its double sided.. does anyone know where i can buy that type that is on the sideskirts.. i looked locally and they dont have that type just real cheap 3m stuff that is made for holding lightweight products not heavy automotive stuff. thanks

If you go to any hardware store, they generally have the regular 3M and also the outdoor "Exterior Mounting Tape"... It states it holds up to 5lbs (I used it for my eyelids and when I had to remove them it was a real struggle)

ya i had that stuff before it aint that great.. besides i believe a sideskirt is more then 5 pounds... the stuff that was on it was more of a black color tape and was really hard.. not like that tape u mentioned which has some give when u press on it

yes.. i even tried looking on 3M's website and i found the tape under the automotive i believe its the 5314 listed on the website buti cant find it for sale anywhere else

go to a painter supply store that mixes paint for cars and get the tape there thats what i did
