05 center console swap to a 01 LX

Does anyone know or has anyone tried to put a 05 center console in an 01 civic lx, so does it look good. (my car is MT)

i did it, and its alot better then the original 01 center console, the thing is that the hole console goes alittle towards the driver side but cant really notice it and hvae to cut out a piece of the hand brake, if you want i can take a pic and post it up?

ok man here are some pics, and you can see where i cut the hand brake peice, but keep inmind some people probably did a better job

civic x2-no man i just cut it.
cenz- i just took it off and i big square is left but you can see it because the console covers it.

im not sure, but im sure you cant just swap them because the hole hand brake peice has to be moved. i bout the car last year and i bougt the console like a month later with out even knowing if it was going to fit and didnt even think of changing the hand brake, but lucky for me i just had to play around alittle and make new holes to make it fit.
