black or blue?
So yeah the jackass who owned my vic before me decided to paint parts of the engine orange while they were still in the engine. So now I am covering up his overspray and retardedness. I cant decide if i should paint the plastic top Black with blue letters or blue with black letters. I painted it already (black w/blue) but it needs to be redone since i half assed it. If I could get some opinions that would be great.

Color matched NBP spray paint. I wouldnt remove the orange, I would paint over it. I would paint anything covered in orange, and anything directly near it.
Removing paint might remove at very least the clear coat under it, which is not good at all.
Since it's cheap you can start with rubbing compound (cleaning, not detailing) and try that with a towel. If that doesnt work, try a degreaser with a sponge or towel. Work slow so you dont kill the black paint!
