use a blow dryer dude and just slowly work around the edges then you can slowly go from rear to front/front to rear. use the blow dryer on full blast tho. Classmate a school had it on his 04 and thats wut he did. Ohh HE didn't have any clips on his. just some info

did you notice any difference in the color under the strip, you have any idea how long it was before he took it off, mine has been on for just about 2 years

I think you should be fine with the colors dude. If your car was 10-15 years old and had some oxidation in the paint, there would probably be a difference. But seeing as you take care of it and it's only two years old, it's nothing that a little rubbing compound and maybe some color sanding could take out.

i agree, if you take care of your car, then there should be no difference on paint period. i have my car for 5 years now and there's no difference if there is, it's ever so slightly by a hairline. taking care of your car pays back.

I used Meguiars Scratch X to fix scratches on my car, worked extremely well. I'd say that would fix any color discrepencies that might arise from the removal of your side moldings.

I've never seen Meguiar's Color X...Maybe I just haven't looked that well. Even then, I don't think they make a color x for Inca Pearls

I would assume so...Last time I tried to get out scratches before on my Cav, I got this turtle wax stuff that was a color matched wax and a little chip stick. Didn't work worth ****.

yeah. scratchx is good but wont do anything except polish out clear coat scratches. it works great, but the paint will still be faded.
