i had mice living in my intake system. they like the warmth of the engine in winter times so they cralled into the intake pipe near the battery, through the silencer box next to the engine, and had built a nice nest on the filter behind the engine.

the filter had like a bunch of crap and some stuff they picked up to make a nest on it, the nest was like an inch thick covering the whole filter except for like one small area a lil bigger than a quarter. can someone say not feeding the engine enough air?

My grandmother's car also somehow got mice...Maybe it has something to do with us living on a farm. But anyways, one day she was driving, turned the heater on and it started to get smokey in the cabin and the fan started making a funny noise. So she told me, and I went out and got a new blower motor. Well while taking the old one out, I encountered a dead mouse. Not only that, when I took the old blower motor out, it was PACKED with crap they'd gathered. And the vent piping also had tons of crap it in...Annoying little creatures, they are

Actually, my dog is the one who likes rats...more then our cat does. The last time I found one he was the one who killed it, I put it down on the ground and he tracked it and killed it...Didn't eat it though
