can someone tell me how i can get my vtec to pop when its engaged? or if it can even happen on our d17 motors? thanks...

sorry e-vtec don't pop. mine kind of does because its is a lx ecu on a d17a2 engine. but not anything like older civics do.

aw man, e-vtec sucks. i think i read something on this site that some people got theirs to pop, but i'm not 100% sure if that was here. what do you guys think if i get my engine ported and polished?

drive_fast_dail has a little shameless behaviour in the past

If you mash the pedal in seond with it still around 3500 rpm as it goes up and hits 4500 you can feel and slight little increase, but its very small and you have to be paying close attention. Happens too fast in first for me to ever notice.
