I rear ended this pathfinder a few years back and it didnt even have damages. The lady sued me almost a year later for neck pains, loss of enjoyment of life, pain and suffering and all that bullsh!t for 3G's. I had no choice but to have my insurance pay her.
20G should cover a pretty decent, pre owned RSX-s.
glad your okay though. good luck with everything.
Personally I'd get the hatchback because just about everyone here wants a Type S
no offense to anyone. But why take my word for it? It'll be your money to spend on whatever you'd like.
Just glad that your Civic gave it's life to save yours! It may bend with just a finger but has enough strength to save someone's life. Again we are glad you are okay.

Looks like I will be having an apraisal by the end of this week. I picked up my rental car: a 1998 Dodge Neon. Not too excited about that but hey its a car! Hopefully this car gets totalled so I can move on...

Sorry to hear about that. Good thing you are okay, those rear hit can do some damage. Hope you follow up with some check ups and report even the minor pains. I got rear ended once and that fcuked up my lower back. I hate when it rains now. Take it easy.
Just thought I would update what is going on right now with the vehicle.
I talked to the insurance company dealing with the situation and he is stating that since the airbags did not deploy that the car most likely is not totalled. This concerns me due to the fact that if the car gets fixed it will most likely never drive the same way it did. He also said that the car has to be damaged at least 75% of what the car is valued at. Does this sound right? My car KBB'S at excellent for 11k. Are there any body shops guys in here that could just by looking at the pictures tell me if it is totalled?
Any input is appreciated!

by all means try to have the car reported as totalled
don't make the mistake of fixing a car that's 'almost' totalled
you'll get problems down the road for sure

they wont total it unless the value for fixing exceeds the bluebook value. my car was only worth 10k and the repair bill was 8k, well guess what it got repaired.
