any one know where i can get hood dampers for my 04 coupe? i have a carbon fiber hood and i want hood dampers.. a good bran dalso.. where can i get some???

hey wassup hawaiian, jus leten you know that the RSX hood damper going fit on our cars trust me I already did it on vic, A and plus what name brand you like cause i rnning the teins brand if you like getem here....

im pretty sure that you're not supposed to use dampers with CF hoods.

Tein has RSX hood dampers I'll buy them see if they fit if they don't I'll sell them to this kid who owns an RSX. If what pino said holds weight I'll be happy.

i wouldnt put em on a cf hood.
tein states on their site that it is not ment to be used with a cf hood.

so it is confirmed that the TEIN hood dampers will work on a Carbon fiber hood? I just want to be sure. I have a carbon hood that I want to put back on, and i have a pair of tein hood damper on hand. Plz let me know, thanks

well attempt number one was a failure. Clearence when you shut the hood was the big issue because the ball ends are to tall. i almost bent my hood because when you close it half way it slams down the rest of the way. i didn't know that and the hood slipped out of my hands and slamed shut. i'm going to try again another day when i have some more time.
