Everything on the JDM transmission appears OEM. I used the cars original wire harness and only transferred the TRS and one of the 2 - solenoid packs from the original transmission. I had a leaky jdm solenoid, otherwise it worked fine.
05ep3 - If your intake has the right stickers, its probably okay. No idea about the cams. What manifold and cams do you have? Do they make a big difference?
BTW - I just passed smog today. The evaporation system does not need to be ready. So just keeping the car under 50 mph on way to shop after clearing codes was all that needed for me to pass. I don't think I'll change out the ecu unless I plan on selling it.
