I fought Honda.. and I won. Some of you may remember my car having a little Transmission trouble last year... Long story short about that, the Mounting point for the Clutch Slave Cylinder broke forcing the replacement of the Transmission housing... I went to honda for warrenty, and they told me flat out "they do not warrenty modified Cars" wich is contrary to the contract. Any way, I ended up going through the contracts Arbitration clause and stated my case. And Today, honda is sending me a check for $1960.20 (which was the cost of the repair).

Springs, shocks, anti-roll bar, Headder, Filter, cat back....
None of which has any thing to do with the Clutch, Transmission or more specificall the slave cylinder and its mounting point. :P
They even at one time Implyed that I was a street racer and thus had used the car out side of the mfg's recomended use, and any one who's been here loing enough knows my feelings about street racing...

I fought honda and I lost- went as far as going to onsumer protection agency( they ruled against me because they don't have mechanics that could tell wether or not the parts I installed caused the failure. SO I swapped the tranny out with a used 02. I could have taken it farther with the dmv and federal trade commission that have mechanics bu t they would have needed my car(my daily driver) and 3rd and 5th would pop out of gear constantly. Still have the same noise with the 02 tranny that I had with the 01 and 2nd pops out once in a while(i think the 01-02 trannys suck)Come spring Im saying goodbye to these problems and going with a k20a2 swap. They said the same thing about my car, that Im a racer and all this other bs. I would love to stick it to em now, what did you do to get this arbitration. I could use the money i spent on the tranny and swap(550) to add to my k-fund
