Carbon Fiber Hood Help.
Ok well I get all my stuff from a local audio guy. It's where I got my wheels, stereo, etc..
Anyways I told him I needed a GOOD Carbon Fiber hood, and he got back to me today and said $199 which sounds WAY too cheap right? Should I try this, and if it doesn't fit, get him to send it back?
I can get the hood clear coated for $50 from a guy I used to deal with Mustangs with...
Think I should get the hood for $199? Or what should I ask?

^ good idea. if you like it, just get extra clear coat on it - it saves a lot of bs with fogging and chipping for several more months than it would otherwise.
OH YEAH a side note HOOD PINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
chances are its a cheap lay of carbon and at speed it would seperate, but if you have hood pins it dosent matter, so make sure you get some before you start driving around

Ok.. I'm going to make sure the hood wont fade or anything, by makin sure he'll replace it if it does.
The guy that can reclearcoat it for $50 said he will
ut another coat of clear coat on it, drill hood pin holes, drill washer nozel holes, and install everything for $100. So the hood will cost me around $300 for installation and everything.
