Rep Power: 377 i had street glow strobes in my headlights, blue in the main housing, red in the parking light. they were small enough to just out the headlight bulb, slide in the strobe light and put the headlight bulb back. i controlled them with a headlight module, also from street glow that i mounted under the steering wheel column. i had pictures and a video of them in my ride but that section is down right now.
i've seen people with whelen strobes lights in their cars, you have to drill the headlights for that and the control box for those suckers are pretty big, might have to put it in the trunk. when the members ride section is back up, look at boostedciviczex's ride, he had'em.

the whelen kit is what I want, from what I've seen the control box isn't that big.... maybe I should have another look though. how were the street glow ones, were they just a simple strobe kit, or were they bright/fast/different settings

well the control box for whelen is a great deal bigger than the streetglow. i dont even think it would fit under a seat but maybe i should have another look at it as well. the street glows were good, while whelen are actual police strobes and can be seen in daytime, i didnt want anything THAT bright. streetglows will light up the headlight housing while whelens will light up a parking garage. the module for street glow had i believe 4-5 different patterns and a speed control.

Hmmm.... Don't know if that's a good thing to be talking about... Keep in mind impersonating a police officer is a serious offense which does include jail time...

would you say they are good enough without going all out? how many flashes would you say per second at max, and what are the patterns like?

Rep Power: 787 i'll take a few tonight but its a bit hard when they're flashing. the streetglow are very small and so it the transformer thing. they just flash at random, but you can get a separate controler to select patterns. its great for a car show or parking lot.

Rep Power: 787 i took 50 pics and these were the best lol! Streetglow $20 strobes wired to switch under dash that works when ignition is on. These were taken just before it got dark. In complete darkness with just the strobes on, they are very visible.
