wierd noise

wierd noise ok... everytime i step on it hard in first gear or when ever im going about 80 on the freeway there a weird sound coming from the engine bay.
it almost sounds close to what appears to be belt slippage or something that is lose and rattling but all of them are tight
any thoughts on what it could be.
taking it to my mechanic today/night
hopefuly its not a biggie
