An Air Ride

I was just wondering if anyone is riding on airbags and if they are how must did the system cost and where did you get it and hows it look, work, and the ride quality.

cuase im lookin into getting one when i can get enough money

dont bother if you live where it gets really cold in the winter, ive heard stories of the lines freezing up cus some water gets in then the tubes crack and leak and the bags do the same.

i saw a thing on tv that certain airbag setups can be as effective in ride quality as high quality coilovers and better. and plus you can still drop it on the streets really low n stuff

what about mercedes benz with there cars and there air ride how come they dont have problesm with linez frezzing and tubes cracking ?

My suggestion is, unless you're car is a show car that needs to be lifted to get from show to show or on and off trailers, then it's not worth it to get an air ride. I have an air ride system sitting at home waiting for install, and my only reason is that my car is 100% show car that needs to be raised when going from point a to b. The ride quality of air suspension is not great at all. The ones that people talk about being so wonderfull and all, cost about a few grand. The ones such as the setup on the subarus and such are all computer controlled for weight and speed adjustment.

Just my $0.02

thats what i was looking for every ones $0.02 and thats what im getting and it helps to see what other people think

thank you! lol yea dude thats mercedes, and all companys use them, lincoln, jag, land rover, everything but its the engineering and material quality compared to any kit that you buy.
and im going by what ive been told by a guy who does them for a job, hes done work on tons of nice cars and even done a little bit on lawyer milloys h2
