My stupid *** trunk lid is giving me a hard time. I have to pratically sit on it in-order for it to close, If I try slamming it , It just wont latch. I have put so much pressure on it trying to close it I have put a few small dents in it.


Any ideas???

happened to me. but mine was screwed because some kid hung on my kaminari wing when i had it flip flop trunk at a show and bent my hinges. my advice take it to Honda and ask them how much it would cost or buy a CF trunk.

it coule be the rubber things on the side of the trunklid. try twisting to the right so they go in, then it should close, unless your hinges are messed up.

yup, i bet its the rubber bump stop things that can be screwed in......screw them in clock-wise until they stop, then try it.

^ ya try that first.. if it still doesnt work.. check the latch and the hook and see if they are loose.. might have gotten loose which is making it not align properly?

**** , I think that did it. I messed with bending the hook earlier. I went out there right now and the damn rubber things were loose.

the trunk latch could be to tight so it won't close...
