Need Help With My Exhaust

I am bringing my car back to stock, so I traded my aftermarket exhaust with someone for his stock exhaust. I have a 2002 civic ex sedan.

I have a dc header downpipe and cat that is already on my car. I sent him my everything behind my cat, and he is sending me his stock exhaust.

He has a 2001 lx sedan. He told me the exhaust is different. Am I going to be able to make his exhaust work on my car. I dont car about perfromance or anything like that... i just need it to work for about 30 miles until I sell the car....

Is it going to work?

Reminder: I already have from my header down to my cat... so all I am going to use of his exaust is from the cat-back..

You might run into a problem with the rear swaybar. The LX didnt come with a swaybar so the rear section pipe is straight and will hit the swaybar. Not sure about the rest of the piping since you modified it.

The lx pipe is longer and will not mate up with your header and cat
The lx has a longer mid pipe
You will need to cut and rewelded the pipe to mate up to the ex cat.

also the lx uses a two bolt flange connector and the ex has a three bolt design.

Your gonna need to go to a muffler shop.
